The Sealey LS5005 is a 5m load sling with a 5000kg safe working load in straight configuration and 10000kg in U configuration, manufactured from 100% high strength polyester with reinforced lifting eyes. One of its key safety advantages is early overload detection: the straps begin to fray before failure, giving operators a visible warning that the sling is under excessive load something chains cannot provide. The LS5005 is colour-coded red in accordance with European standards for identifying sling capacity, and is three to five times stronger than chain alternatives of equivalent weight. Safe working load ratings are quoted for a load between the loop eyes (U configuration) and a load at one end (straight configuration).
