Recovering a stuck ATV or quad bike demands a winch that combines genuine pulling power with durability you can rely on in demanding conditions. The Sealey ATV2040 is purpose-built for ATV and quad bike mounting, delivering a 2040kg (4500lb) line pull from its high-power 2.5kW (3.25hp) 12V DC permanent magnet motor. The all-metal chassis ensures long life and low maintenance, while the motor can be rotated 90° to meet various wiring and mounting requirements making installation straightforward across a range of vehicles. A patented automatic spring brake operates reliably under full load, and the 17m wire rope (5.4mm) feeds through a 4-way roller fairlead for even cable distribution onto the drum. With a gear ratio of 180:1, line speed reaches 4.5m/min under no load and 1.3m/min at maximum load. Rated capacity is 2043kg at layer 1 and 1234kg at layer 4. The ATV2040 is IP67 rated for protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for off-road conditions. Current draw is 30A at no load and up to 185A at maximum load. Replacement consumable parts are available: ATV2040.WR (wire rope, 5.4mm x 17m) and ATV2040.DR (Dyneema rope, 5.5mm x 17m). Note: performance figures are quoted at the first layer of cable on the drum.
