Lifting operations in workshop or factory environments demand reliable load control and safety, the Draper Expert Chain Lever Hoist addresses both with a robust mechanical design suited to sustained professional use. At the heart of the hoist is a totally enclosed pinion gear mechanism paired with a load braking system incorporating double pawls. This arrangement ensures that loads are held securely during lifting and positioning operations reducing the risk of uncontrolled descent. The free chain feature allows any slack in the chain to be taken up before ratcheting begins enabling operators to pre-tension the chain and achieve a more controlled precise lift from the outset. The hoist carries a safe working load of 750 kg verified against a test load of 1. Lift height reaches 1.5 metres and the hook aperture measures 32 mm. The unit itself weighs 7 kg making it manageable for positioning across different workshop stations. High-quality welded chain is used throughout and safety latches fitted to the load hooks guard against accidental disengagement during use. Supplied as a single unit the Draper 82475 Expert Chain Lever Hoist is positioned within Draper's Expert range reflecting a specification intended for workshop and factory application. This is a dependable choice for professionals requiring accurate load handling with straightforward mechanical operation.
