The kit contains everything required to complete the repair: an M8 x 1mm tap, a 7mm/8mm stepped drill, a 6mm drill, a drill guide, a thread insert fitting tool, and five M8 x 1mm threaded inserts with inner thread M6 and outer thread M8. The drill guide ensures accurate location during the reaming process, reducing the risk of further damage to the cylinder head. Replacement threaded inserts are available separately in packs of five under Sealey model VS640RF, so the kit can be used again for future repairs.
