The 1/4 inch square drive and 5 mm socket size make this an appropriate choice for smaller fasteners encountered in automotive and light industrial work. This socket is compatible with air, electric and manual impact wrenches. An important safety note from the manufacturer: only impact-rated sockets and accessories should be used with air or electric powered wrenches. Chrome vanadium steel sockets must never be used in these applications as they can shatter and cause personal injury.
