Impact sockets used with standard chrome vanadium sockets risk shattering under the shock loads generated by air and electric wrenches — a hazard that the Draper Expert HI-TORQ® 6 Point Deep Impact Socket directly addresses. Each socket is forged from chrome molybdenum steel, then hardened, tempered and chemically blacked to provide robust corrosion protection suited to the demands of professional workshop environments. Designed for use with air, electric or manual impact wrenches, this 11 mm deep socket features a 1/4 inch square drive and a 6 point profile that maximises contact with fastener flats, reducing the risk of rounding under torque. The deep profile allows access to recessed or stud-mounted fasteners that shallow sockets cannot reach. An important safety note confirmed in the product documentation: only impact sockets and impact-rated accessories must be used with air or electric powered wrenches. Chrome vanadium sockets must never be substituted, as they can shatter and cause personal injury. This product is display packed and supplied as a single socket. Draper Expert HI-TORQ® is a registered trademark of Draper Tools Ltd.
Expert Quality, 6 point sockets forged from chrome molybdenum hardened, tempered and chemically blacked for corrosion protection. These sockets are for use with air, electric or manual impact wrenches. Display packed.
