The Draper Expert 16714 extension bar is manufactured from chrome vanadium steel, hardened and tempered, then finished with a polished chrome plating for corrosion protection — delivering a robust tool built for repeated workshop use. A knurled ring is fitted to the bar to provide a positive grip surface when rotating by hand or positioning in tight spaces. The drive end uses a spring-loaded ball bearing to hold sockets securely in place, reducing the risk of the socket dropping free during use. The bar measures 150 mm in length and operates on a 1/4 inch square drive, making it compatible with the 1/4 inch drive socket range. Manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN 3122 and ISO 3315 specifications, the bar meets recognised dimensional and performance standards for square drive accessories. Supplied as a single 150 mm extension bar.
