Tarpaulins and tents that develop torn or missing eyelets quickly become unreliable in the field. The Draper 85665 Eyelet/Grommet Kit provides a straightforward solution, enabling the repair of tarpaulins or tents wherever eyelets or grommets are required. Each kit is comprehensively equipped for the task supplied with a 3/8"" punch steel mandrel anvil wood backer block and 12 brass grommets. The wood backer block protects the working surface during installation whilst the steel mandrel and anvil work in combination with the punch to set each grommet securely in place. The brass grommets provide a corrosion-resistant finish suited to outdoor applications. The kit is display packed making it a practical addition to workshop agricultural or outdoor equipment stores. With all necessary components included in a single kit no additional tooling is required to complete a standard eyelet repair on tarpaulins or tent fabric.
