The Heritage range is one specification applied across a full set of garden tools: stainless steel heads with ash handles throughout. Buying within a range rather than tool by tool means the handles, the weights and the finish match, which matters where the tools are stored on show.
Stainless heads shed wet soil rather than letting it build up, and ash handles flex slightly under load and take vibration out of a blow. That combination is the traditional pairing, and it is why the range is specified that way rather than being a finish choice. Ash is also repairable and replaceable in a way that a moulded handle is not.
The digging tools cover both sizes, with border and digging forks and spades, so open ground and planted beds are both served without stepping outside the range. Garden and lawn rakes cover soil and surface. A lawn edger in the same specification finishes the bed line the forks and spades have opened up.
Cultivating and hoeing are covered by a 3 prong cultivator, a draw hoe and a Dutch hoe. A draw hoe pulls soil towards you and chops; a Dutch hoe pushes just under the surface and cuts weeds off at the root. Bypass secateurs at 210mm and a telescopic fruit picker complete it.
