Keeping grass edges neat and tidy is a constant challenge, and underpowered or heavy trimmers only make the job harder. The Sealey CP40VGS delivers professional-grade results as part of the SV20 Series, combining heavy-duty performance with a lightweight composite design for superior control and comfort. Powered by 2 x 20V SV20 Series batteries running in series to deliver 40V output, this trimmer offers a wide 300mm cutting width with bump feed line for efficient, uninterrupted operation. A. It requires 2 x 20V Lithium-ion batteries from the Sealey SV20 Series, rated between 2Ah and 6Ah. Both batteries must be of the same Ah rating. Batteries are not included with this body-only model.
A. The tool operates by running two 20V SV20 Series batteries in series to deliver a combined 40V output, providing higher performance while remaining compatible with the existing SV20 battery platform.
A. It has a cutting width of 300mm (30cm), making it efficient for clearing grass along borders, edges, and around obstacles.
A. Yes. The CP40VGS has a 2-in-1 function, fitted with wheels that allow it to be used for both grass trimming and edging.
A. The cutting line is advanced by briefly tapping the head against the ground while the trimmer is running, releasing more line automatically without needing to stop and adjust manually.
A. The head rotates 90°, allowing you to adjust the cutting angle to suit different tasks and working positions, improving comfort during extended use.
A. Yes. The CP40VGS is fully compatible with the Sealey SV20 Series battery range, so existing SV20 batteries can be used across multiple tools in the range, provided the Ah ratings match when using two batteries together.
