The Draper 4604 self-propelled petrol tiller and cultivator is suitable for any soil type, breaking up compacted ground with ease and making it ideal for preparing seeding beds, vegetable patches, small holdings and allotments. Powered by a 161cc, 9HP, 4-stroke single cylinder air-cooled OHV petrol engine with recoil start and variable engine speed adjustment, the machine is driven by heavy-duty gears that turn six robust 4-tooth blades. These deliver a tilling width of 560mm and an adjustable tilling depth of up to 260mm, set simply via the depth control on the drag bar. The tine rotation speed is 110rpm, and with a 1.3-litre fuel tank and 0.35-litre oil capacity, the machine is built for sustained use. It weighs 35kg. Self-propulsion provides better manoeuvrability and effortless working across larger areas. The height-adjustable handlebar with cushioned hand grips keeps controls within easy reach, including the speed adjustment lever, safety clutch and emergency stop. A front handle and wheel simplify transport and storage, with the front wheel easily lifted into a cultivating position when required. The machine is compatible with E10 fuel and is supplied complete with a spark plug wrench and fuel filling funnel.
