Product Number: 81065
Driving fence posts through compacted ground demands a tool built to absorb the shock of repeated heavy blows. The Draper 81065 Fibreglass Shaft Fencing Hammer is designed for that purpose, combining a cast iron head with a polypropylene coated fibreglass shaft to deliver durability and resistance to the stresses of sustained fencing work. The cast iron head measures 130mm in width, providing a broad, stable striking face suited to driving wooden fence posts and similar fencing tasks. The fibreglass shaft is coated in polypropylene for additional protection, whilst the shock-absorbing rubber grip helps reduce vibration transmitted to the user's hands during prolonged use. The hammer weighs 5.4kg, reflecting the mass required for effective post driving. Note that this hammer is not to be used to hammer in metal posts. The tool is supplied loose and is intended for professional and agricultural fencing applications. It is sold as a single unit: 1 x Fibreglass Shaft Fencing Hammer, 5.4kg.
Cast iron head with polypropylene coated fibreglass shaft. Head width 130mm. Shock - absorbing rubber grip.
