Moisture damage in walls, floors and ceilings can be difficult to locate and quantify without the right instrument. The Laserliner 082.091A MultiWet-Finder Plus is an electronic material moisture measuring device that provides non-destructive location and evaluation of moisture distribution across building structures, making it well suited to damage surveys and leak investigations. The device works by allowing users to measure moisture at a suspect area and compare the index value against a reference value taken from an undamaged point. This comparative approach enables conclusions to be drawn about which areas of a building are affected by moisture and to what extent, giving a clear picture of the severity and distribution of damage. In addition to its core moisture measurement function, the MultiWet-Finder Plus records ambient temperature, relative humidity and dew point temperature. Its measuring range covers ambient temperatures from -10°C to 60°C with an accuracy of ±1°C, relative humidity from 20% to 90%, and dew point temperatures from -20°C to 60°C. The unit features a numerical digital display, multi-colour LED signal, wet/dry indicator, auto-hold, max/min recall, data transfer capability, and conversion functions for CM and mass percentage values. Powered by three 1.5V LR03 (AAA) batteries and supplied complete with batteries and a carrying case, the MultiWet-Finder Plus is ready to use from delivery.
