Charging times are defined by battery capacity: a 2.0Ah DX12 Li-ion battery reaches a full charge in approximately 35 minutes, a 4.0Ah battery in 70 minutes, and a 5.0Ah battery in 85 minutes. This makes the charger well suited to demanding working environments where minimising downtime between charges is a priority. The charger is compatible with DX12 Li-ion batteries in 2.0Ah, 4.0Ah, and 5.0Ah capacities, all of which are sold separately. As part of the DXPULSE Interchange Series, it is designed to integrate with other DX range equipment, providing a consistent charging solution across compatible tools and batteries.
