Q 1. What functions does the Sealey MM20 measure?

A. The MM20 measures AC and DC voltage, DC current, resistance, temperature, audible continuity, and includes a diode and transistor verification mode - eight functions in total.

Q 2. What is the temperature measurement range of the MM20?

A. The MM20 measures temperature from -40°C to 1000°C, with accuracy of ±1% up to 400°C and ±2% over 400°C. A temperature probe is included in the supply.

Q 3. What voltage ranges does the MM20 cover?

A. For DC voltage, ranges are 200mV (±0.5%), 2V, 20V, 200V (all ±0.8%), and 600V (±0.8%). AC voltage covers 200V and 600V, both at ±2% accuracy.

Q 4. Does the MM20 measure AC current?

A. According to the specification, the MM20 does not measure AC current. DC current is measured across four ranges: 2mA, 20mA, 200mA (all ±1-1.2%), and 10A (±2%).

Q 5. Does the MM20 have a data-hold function?

A. Yes. The MM20 features a data-hold function that freezes the displayed reading, making it easier to record measurements without having to watch the display continuously.

Q 6. What is the MM20 supplied with?

A. The MM20 is supplied with a full set of leads and probes and a temperature probe. It is housed in a rugged rubber boot with an integral stand.

Q 7. Is there a variant of the MM20 with different specifications?

A. Yes. The MM20HV is an available variant in the same product family. Please refer to the MM20HV product listing or contact Parts for Machines for confirmation of how the specification differs.

Q 8. What alternative multimeters are available if the MM20 is not suitable?

A. Alternative multimeters include the MM01, MM03, MM102, and MM18 - each a different product offering similar diagnostic functionality. Please refer to those individual listings for specification comparisons.

Q 9. Can I ask questions about this product before ordering?

A. Yes - WhatsApp us on 07754 288583 with any questions about specifications, suitability, or compatibility, and we'll help you choose the right product.

Q 10. How long does delivery take?

A. Standard UK mainland delivery is 3-5 working days.
