The Draper 31860 18V 2-in-1 Grass Trimmer addresses this by supplying two dedicated cutting attachments in a single cordless unit: a line cutter for general grass maintenance and a plastic cutter for tackling thicker, tougher growth. Switching between the two cutting heads is quick and tool-free, keeping downtime to a minimum. The line cutter operates at a no-load speed of 8,500rpm with a 250mm cutting width and 1.6mm line thickness, using a 4m line length. The plastic cutter delivers a 240mm cutting width at a no-load speed of 9,000rpm, providing the additional force needed for more demanding vegetation. Both heads are served by the same 18V platform. User comfort and precision are central to the design. The shaft is height adjustable between 1m and 1.25m, and the adjustable cutting angle enables edge trimming as well as general cutting passes. A flower guard is fitted to protect delicate plants and obstacles during use. The ergonomic handle and auxiliary grip combine to give enhanced control throughout. The unit weighs 1.9kg (net) and is supplied complete with one 2.0Ah Li-ion battery and one charger, providing everything required to begin work straight from the box.
