Accurate measurement in the field demands a tape that reads clearly and holds firm at the work end. The Draper 88217 is a 30m/100ft steel measuring tape, 13mm wide, graduated in both metric and imperial scales: metres divided into centimetres and millimetres on one side, feet divided into inches and eighths of an inch on the other. This dual graduation makes it equally at home on construction sites, groundworks, and setting-out tasks where mixed-unit drawings are common. The tape is housed in an ABS plastic case that resists knocks on site. Winding is handled by a plated flush winding handle that sits neatly in the hand and the free end of the tape is fitted with a stainless steel holding claw to anchor the tape securely against a datum point without slipping. The product is display packed making it straightforward to merchandise or store.
