Accurate measurement on site demands a tape that is both robust and easy to operate. The Draper 75299 Measuring Tape features a tough impact-resistant ABS case with a soft-grip finish, a blade locking button, and a belt clip for convenient carry between tasks. The hold-and-measure button allows the user to lock the tape at any extension for accurate, hands-free readings, whilst a dedicated button on the base controls the speed of the power-return blade back into the case. The 19mm nylon-coated blade carries a yellow wear-resistant coating and displays clear black and red graduations in both metric and imperial: metres subdivided into centimetres and millimetres, feet subdivided into inches to 1/8" and 1/16" resolution. Stud centre markings appear every 16" for rapid timber-frame layout. A self-aligning end hook ensures accurate internal and external measurements without manual adjustment. The tape measures 5m/16ft and is supplied display-packed.
