Accurate levelling on ferrous surfaces is made straightforward with the Draper 79579 Magnetic Torpedo Spirit Level. The magnetic base, combined with a V-groove channel machined into the underside, allows the tool to seat firmly on pipework and other curved or flat metallic surfaces, keeping both hands free during use. The level carries three independent vials covering horizontal (180°), vertical (90°) and 45° angles, giving tradespeople a single compact tool for the most common checking positions on site or in the workshop. Vial sensitivity is rated at 0.1°, with a level accuracy of 1mm per metre in the standard working position. The body is constructed from durable ABS plastic. Rubber end caps absorb impact and protect the vials if the tool is dropped, while hang holes at both ends allow the level to be stored on a hook or wall rack without taking up bench space. At 230mm in length, the torpedo format fits comfortably into a tool belt or apron pocket. The level is supplied display-packed and is ready for immediate use.
