Accurate horizontal and vertical alignment demands a reliable reference tool, and the Laserliner 081.255A DigiLevel Laser G40 meets that need with both digital angle measurement and optical line projection in a single instrument. A green wall-line laser extends the measuring surface beyond the body of the level, allowing the alignment reference to be read across greater distances on metal structures, frames and fabrications. The device delivers digital 360-degree slope measurement with an angle display accurate to one decimal place, and a vial accuracy of ±0.5 mm/m. Dedicated signals confirm 90°, 45° and 0° positions, while slope transfer (reference mode) allows angles to be transferred between surfaces. Overhead measurement is supported by a flip display that reorients the readout automatically, and acoustic guidance assists alignment without requiring the operator to maintain a direct line of sight to the screen. The magnetic bracket enables hands-free operation when working on metal constructions, a practical advantage in fabrication and installation environments. Power is supplied by two 1.5 V LR03 (AAA) batteries, which are included. The instrument measures 400 mm x 66 mm x 30 mm and weighs 566 g including batteries. The laser operates at a wavelength of 515 nm. Supplied as standard with batteries and a softbag for protected storage and transport.
