Roofers working with slate frequently need a tool that can punch clean fixing holes, extract old nails and start new fixings accurately in a single session — the Estwing E3-239MM addresses all three demands in one solid-forged instrument. Forged as a single piece of steel, the E3-239MM delivers the structural integrity that one-piece construction provides: no joints or welds to fatigue under repeated impact. The spike is designed for making holes in slate, whilst the claw efficiently extracts old nails. The milled face provides extra grip on the nail head, and the magnetised head allows nails to be started accurately with one hand — a practical advantage when working at height. The handle is fitted with Estwing's vinyl moulded Shock Reduction Grip, engineered to enhance comfort and significantly reduce transmitted vibration during use. Head weight is 21oz/600g and overall length is 13"/330mm, placing this hammer in the German Pattern roofer category. Draper Tools is licensed to sell this Estwing product in the UK, Ireland and Europe. Each order contains one Estwing E3-239MM Magnetised Milled Face Roofers Pick Hammer (German Pattern), 21oz/600g.
