Where mains power is unavailable, the Draper Expert 87680 Petrol Water Pump provides a reliable, self-priming solution for demanding water-removal tasks. Whether clearing flooded premises, pumping out footings, or draining large ponds, this pump is purpose-built for professional and construction use away from the grid. Power comes from a 2.5HP four-stroke petrol engine with a 98cc displacement and a recoil pull start eliminating the need for any electrical connection on site. The 1.4-litre fuel tank supports extended working sessions and the engine is compatible with E10 fuel. Both the suction and output apertures measure 25mm delivering a maximum output of 85 litres per minute. The pump achieves a maximum head height of 10 metres and a maximum suction head height of 6 metres giving operators the reach needed for most groundworks and flood-response scenarios. At 11kg the unit remains manageable for site transport and repositioning. Supplied as a complete working kit the 87680 includes three metal hose couplings a suction filter and a box spanner so it is ready to deploy without sourcing additional fittings.
