The heads and faces are smoothly ground, with cutting edges that are separately induction hardened to 61 HRC. This level of hardness makes the nippers particularly suited to cutting hard or medium-hard wire and soft annealed tie wire used on reinforcing rods — a core requirement for concreters and structural fixers working with reinforced concrete wire mesh. Handles are plastic coated for grip and operator comfort during repetitive cutting tasks. The tool is manufactured to DIN ISO 5748 specifications, providing a recognised standard of quality assurance. Supplied individually as a single unit. This product is sold loose.
