The KNIPEX CoBolt® S Compact Bolt Cutters deliver extremely high cutting performance in a convenient 160 mm length, with a small, slim head engineered for excellent accessibility in confined or restricted workspaces. The cutting edge is induction-hardened for use on thin, hard wire, screws, and springs, achieving a cutting edge hardness of approximately 64 HRC. A lasered cutting edge prevents material from slipping during the cut, ensuring clean, controlled results. The efficient lever action mechanism reduces the physical effort required from the operator, while blades feature a recess that provides better leverage close to the fulcrum for easier cutting of larger cross-sections. Below the joint, a gripping surface allows the user to grip and pull wires from 1.0 mm diameter. Cutting capacities are as follows: soft wire up to 5.3 mm diameter, medium hard wire up to 4.8 mm diameter, hard wire up to 3.6 mm diameter, and piano wire up to 3.3 mm diameter.
