Product Number: VS0561
Worn or uneven brake discs are a common cause of vibration and pulling under braking, yet measuring disc thickness accurately with a standard calliper can be awkward and imprecise. The Sealey VS0561 Digital Brake Disc Caliper is purpose-built for this task, offering a measurement range of 0-100mm (0-4") with a resolution of 0.01mm (0.0005") and accuracy of ±0.02mm (0.001"). The gauge body is hardened and tempered stainless steel, and the large 11mm LCD figures make readings easy to see in workshop conditions. Switch between metric and imperial read-out at will, and use the Hold function to lock a measurement for recording. The zero setting control enables comparative measurement, so you can quickly assess wear against a known reference. A serial port connection is included for direct computer interface, useful where digital records are required. Two LR44 1.5V batteries are supplied, and the caliper comes in a protective storage case for safe keeping between uses.
