The Sealey PSTART1000HD PowerStart Emergency Heavy-Duty Jump Starter is built for exactly this purpose. It operates on both 12V and 24V systems and is rated for engines up to 1000hp, delivering a cold cranking current of 800A at 12V and 400A at 24V (at -18°C for 30 seconds), and cranking currents of 1900A at 12V and 950A at 24V at 20°C over 5 seconds, with peak amps reaching 7000A at 12V and 3500A at 24V. The unit is housed in a heavy-duty steel case with a US-manufactured high-power battery and industrial-quality switchgear. Heavy-duty 2m x 35mm² copper cables ensure efficient power transfer. A positive action power switch reduces the risk of inadvertent over-voltage damage, while twin trip protection safeguards both the battery and internal circuitry. Surge and spike suppressing circuitry protects the vehicle's on-board electronics during starting. Charge balance circuitry provides even charge to the integral batteries, and an LED battery indicator to IEC 51 gives a fast, clear reading of the battery's state of charge. Supplied with a mains voltage recharge unit. Made in Europe.
