Diagnosing a vehicle with an intermittent start, failing battery, or suspect charging system can be time-consuming without the right equipment. The Sealey BT2011 Digital Start/Stop Battery and Alternator/Starter Tester performs a full in-vehicle diagnosis of the battery, starter motor, and alternator in seconds, without the need to remove the battery from the vehicle. Supporting all 12V battery types including standard Lead-Acid, VRLA, GEL, AGM, and EFB batteries found in Start/Stop vehicles it tests battery health, state of charge, internal resistance, cranking voltage, and charging system voltage both at rest and under load. The tester operates across a voltage range of 8-30V and supports a 24V charging system capability, making it suitable for a wide range of vehicles. It covers multiple rating systems including EN, JIS, DIN, IEC, CA (MCA), and SAE, with CCA test ranges up to 1,885 CCA (EN) and 2,000 CCA (SAE). Reverse polarity protection and a battery temperature compensation feature are built in to ensure accurate, safe testing. The unit is available in ten languages and is housed in a heavy-duty rubber protection cover for durability in workshop use.
