Like all bandsaws in this professional range, it features a steel chassis with locking blade wheel covers, bearing-mounted blade wheels for smooth operation, and a 2-speed cutting system 540 and 660m/min so you can work confidently through both wood and plastics. Safety is well considered: micro switches prevent operation whenever either blade wheel cover is open, and a no-volt release switch eliminates the risk of uncontrolled blade restart following any power interruption. The tilting table adjusts from 0-45° for compound mitre cutting, with a 500 x 400mm table surface providing solid support. Maximum cutting height is 165mm and the required blade length is 2400mm. A 100mm dust extraction port keeps dust under control, and the saw is supplied complete with a quick adjusting rip fence, mitre gauge, and sturdy metal stand. Fully CE approved. Please note: this item is heavy extra assistance must be provided at the delivery point for safe delivery.
