For sustained weld-dressing and surface prep on tougher materials, a zirconium flap disc lasts significantly longer than the standard aluminium oxide equivalent. The Sealey FD11580 is a Ø115mm zirconium flap disc with a Ø22mm bore and 80 grit, suitable for descaling, rust removal, weld preparation, weld cleaning and general surface preparation. Standard 4-1/2" angle grinder pattern. Flaps are bonded to a rigid disc with epoxy adhesive - no separate backing pad required. Depressed centre profile fits both electric and air-powered angle grinders. The aluminium oxide equivalent is FD11580E (cheaper, shorter life). Backed by Sealey's guarantee in addition to your statutory rights.
