The Sealey FD115EMIX is a 10-pack of aluminium oxide flap discs that bundles four grits in one box: 3 x 40G for heavy stock removal, 4 x 60G for the bulk of the work, 2 x 80G for refining the finish, and 1 x 120G for final smoothing - so the right grit for the next step is always within reach. The discs are intended for descaling, rust removal, weld preparation, weld cleaning and general surface preparation. Aluminium oxide is the standard, cost-effective abrasive for most steel surface-prep work. The flaps are bonded to a rigid disc with epoxy adhesive so no separate backing pad is required, and the depressed centre profile works in both angle grinders and air tools.
