This fibre-backed aluminium oxide flap wheel from Draper is designed specifically for use on irregular surfaces, where a rigid abrasive disc would bridge peaks and miss valleys. The wheel measures 10 x 60mm and is supplied at 80 grit, making it suited to material removal and surface preparation tasks where a medium-coarse cut is required. Each wheel comes supplied with a plastic spindle fitted with a locking feature, allowing secure mounting onto sanding roller tools. The spindle is compatible with the Draper 90469 sanding roller and other manufacturers' similar sanding roller systems, giving the wheel broad utility across different workshop setups. The fibre backing provides the flexibility needed to follow surface irregularities whilst maintaining consistent abrasive contact throughout the working stroke.
