The SIP Pro B20 Bench Pillar Drill (SKU 01713) is a 750W, 16-speed bench-mounted pillar drill designed to make light work of preparing and finishing a variety of workpiece materials, including ferrous and non-ferrous metals, hard and soft woods, and high-density plastics. Operating on a standard 230V (13A) supply, it delivers a speed range of 200–2800rpm across 16 selectable speeds, making it equally capable across pilot, blind, batch, and general drilling applications in manufacturing, metalwork, and woodwork environments.
At the heart of the machine is a high-power brushless induction motor that delivers consistent, high-quality drilling performance. The adjustable tilting table and tilt scale allow precise workpiece positioning for accurate drilling, while a three-lever handle ensures smooth, controlled drilling force. A fitted drilling depth stop maintains repeatable blind and through-hole accuracy, helping to minimise material wastage, and a safety interlock switch allows belt adjustment with confidence, preventing accidental start-up. Integrated chuck guards further reduce user risk during operation.
The Pro B20 accepts drill bits from 3mm to 16mm and offers a maximum drilling capacity of 20mm, with an MT2 spindle taper and 80mm of spindle travel. The generously sized 285mm × 285mm table and a maximum chuck-to-table distance of 320mm (510mm to base) accommodate a wide range of workpiece sizes.
