For sustained weld dressing and surface prep on tougher materials, Zirconium is the right grit choice. The Sealey FD10080 is a Ø100mm zirconium flap disc with a Ø16mm bore and 80 grit, suitable for descaling, rust removal, weld preparation, weld cleaning and general surface preparation. Standard 4" angle grinder pattern. Flaps bonded to a rigid disc with epoxy adhesive - no separate backing pad required. Depressed centre profile fits both electric and air angle grinders. The aluminium oxide equivalent is FD10080E (cheaper, shorter life). Backed by Sealey's guarantee in addition to your statutory rights.
