The cutting edges are additionally laser hardened to a hardness of approximately 60 HRC, ensuring long-term cutting performance. Rust protection is achieved through a polish or mirror polish finish combined with a fine film of oil. This approach eliminates the risk of circuit faults caused by peeling chrome, a concern associated with conventional chrome-plated cutting tools.
