Product Number: 6803N
The WAI 6803N is a brand-new 24V starter motor. It is built to the Delco 39MT PLGR design, replacing original-equipment numbers including Delco 8201176, Cummins 5567769, and Remy 10461758 — three of eight verified cross-references covered by this unit. It is engineered for heavy-duty plant and agricultural machinery operating on 24V electrical systems, making it a direct replacement for worn or failed starters across Caterpillar, Case, Fiat-Allis, Timberjack, and Dresser equipment.
The 39MT PLGR design is a well-established Delco architecture used extensively across heavy construction and agricultural plant. This unit turns clockwise and engages via a 12-tooth drive, matching the pinion geometry of the applications it covers. Being supplied brand new — not remanufactured — means no core exchange is required and the motor arrives ready to fit straight from the box.
Coverage spans 57 confirmed applications across five makes, with Caterpillar Ag. & Ind. accounting for 34 of those, Case for seven, Fiat-Allis for ten, Timberjack for four, and Dresser for two. Example Case fitments include the 1150E (1990–1996), 1155E (1990–1993), 1550 (1985–1990), 821 (1989–1993), and the 9040 and 9040B excavator series.
