Product Number: 6599N
The WAI 6599N is a brand-new 12V 2.9kW starter motor. It is built to the Delco 28MT OSGR design, supplied as a direct replacement for original-equipment units from BMW, Remy, Iskra, Mahle, Prestolite, and Letrika. With 14 confirmed OE cross-references — including BMW 12-41-7-754-662, BMW 12417754662, Remy 10461467, Remy 10465055, and Remy 10465315 — buyers can match this unit against their existing part number before ordering.
The 28MT OSGR (Over-running Sprag Gear Reduction) design delivers reliable high-torque cranking suited to the heavy-duty agricultural and plant engines it is built for. Clockwise rotation and a 9-tooth pinion are fixed design parameters that determine compatibility, so always verify both before fitting.
With 207 confirmed fitment applications spanning Deutz-Fahr, Fendt, Fahr, Deutz-Allis, Agco Allis, Agco Gleaner, Claas, International, and Lamborghini-Agricultural machinery, this starter motor covers a broad spread of European and American agricultural equipment from the early 1990s onward.
