The material is 600-denier polyester over a polyurethane backing: waterproof and oil and mud resistant, made to take what a working Caddy puts through its driver's seat across a delivery round. Overlocked seams hold the panel edges together along the outer bolster, where a driver's seat wears through the twist of getting in and out rather than through sitting.
Fitting uses tuck-in panels and hook-and-loop fastening, pulling the cover tight into the seat so it holds position rather than working loose across a shift.Seat adjusters remain accessible once the cover is on.
The four pieces cover the headrest, backrest, base and armrest as one surface once fitted, so the whole seat ages at the same rate rather than the base wearing ahead of the rest.
