The CCL 02-018 is a 12V mini changeover relay with integrated diode protection, designed for use in automotive, commercial vehicle, and machine electrical systems where circuit switching reliability and back-EMF suppression are required. Carrying five 6.3 mm terminals in a compact mini-relay footprint, it is suited to installations where space is at a premium without compromise to electrical performance.
The relay is rated for a continuous load of 40 A on the normally-open circuit and 30 A on the normally-closed circuit, with peak load capacities of 80 A and 60 A respectively. The built-in diode provides protection against voltage spikes caused by inductive loads - a critical safeguard when switching motors, solenoids, and similar components that can generate damaging back-EMF on de-energisation.
