Designed for panel-mounted enclosure and cabinet security applications, it accepts a panel cutout of 20.1 x 20.1 mm and accommodates panel thicknesses from 1 to 36 mm, making it suitable across a wide range of fabricated enclosures and industrial cabinets.
The handle and housing are manufactured from zinc die cast alloy with a black powder coated finish, and the cam is constructed from mild steel with a zinc plated treatment. An IP65 ingress protection rating confirms suitability for environments where dust and water jets may be present. A range of cams are offered within the series to suit varying latch and compression requirements.
For applications requiring greater corrosion resistance, this lock is also available in full SS316 stainless steel, and an alternative bright chrome finish variant exists within the series. The Model 1420 range is manufactured by Metrol.
