The 1407 housing and cylinder are manufactured from zinc die with a Stainless Steel 304 material specification, and the cam is mild steel zinc plated. The polished finish gives a clean, professional appearance suited to control panels, enclosures, and similar industrial cabinetry. The 2x4 slot drive accommodates a quarter turn operation, and the padlockable feature provides an additional level of access security.
The lock accepts a panel cutout of 20.1 x 20.1 mm and is compatible with panel thicknesses from 1 mm to 8 mm. The barrel is 22 mm. With an IP65 rating, the 1407 offers protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, making it appropriate for use in demanding workshop and industrial enclosure applications.
