1407-220152h-304 — the Metrol 1407 is a padlockable quarter turn lock featuring a 5mm double bit operation, supplied in a Stainless Steel 304 polished finish. Designed for panel-mounting applications where secure, tooled access and corrosion resistance are required, it is suited to industrial enclosures, cabinets, and equipment housings.
The housing and cylinder are constructed from zinc die, finished in Stainless Steel 304. The fitted cam is mild steel zinc plated, with a choice of cams available to suit different panel and latch configurations. The padlockable design adds a secondary security layer, preventing unauthorised operation without the appropriate padlock fitted.
The lock accepts a 20.1 x 20.1 mm panel cutout and accommodates panel thicknesses from 1 mm to 8 mm. The barrel is 22 mm. An IP65 ingress protection rating confirms suitability for dusty or wet environments where wash-down or outdoor exposure is a factor.
