The Metrol 1401-170-20 is a quarter turn wing knob lock from the 1401 series, featuring an 18mm barrel height and a black powder coated finish. Designed for panel mounting, this lock accepts a 20.1 x 20.1 mm panel cutout and accommodates panel thicknesses from 1 mm to 8 mm, making it suitable for enclosure and cabinet applications requiring a secure quarter turn fastening solution.
The locking head is constructed with a die cast zinc body with a Nylon 6 GF30 reinforced handle, finished in black powder coating. The mild steel cam is zinc plated. It carries IP65-grade weather sealing, confirming resistance to dust and water jets. The 1401 series is available with a choice of cams to suit different retention requirements.
The 1401 series is offered in multiple handle configurations and finish options including bright chrome, polyamide, and stainless steel 316 variants, providing flexibility across a range of panel and enclosure applications.
