Air hose assemblies that are too short or fitted with mismatched connectors interrupt workflow and limit tool reach. The PCL HA2140 is a pre-assembled air hose in the XF-Euro series, comprising 5 metres of 10 mm (3/8 in) internal-diameter hose, terminated at one end with an XF-Euro adaptor and at the other with an XF-Euro coupling, ready to connect without additional crimping equipment or end fittings.
The hose is constructed from a high-performance TPE compound that, according to PCL, looks and feels like rubber while avoiding rubber's associated downsides. The pre-fitted XF-Euro adaptor and XF-Euro coupling ends are matched to the same XF-Euro connection standard used across PCL's range of couplings, adaptors, and tools, allowing direct drop-in replacement or extension of an existing XF-Euro airline.
At 5 metres in length with a 10 mm (3/8 in) bore, the HA2140 is suited to workshop airline runs where a standard cut-to-length assembly saves time over a field-crimped alternative. It is supplied complete with both connection ends, requiring no additional tooling to fit.
PCL manufacture from their Sheffield, UK facility and have been doing so since 1938, as part of HORNGROUP.
