The PCL HA2116 is a 0.6 m (2 ft) anti whip hose fitted with a 100 Series Adaptor and an R 1/2 Male end fitting, carrying 13 mm (1/2 in) internal diameter hose — designed to distance an air tool from its air supply and prevent vibration transmission. PCL's whip hoses are highly recommended by the Health and Safety Executive's Guide HS(G) 39. By introducing a flexible intermediate section between the air supply and the tool, the HA2116 helps to reduce the vibration load placed on couplings and adaptors, contributing to safer tool use and prolonged service life of the connected fittings. The HA2116 is built around 0.6 m of 13 mm internal diameter hose, terminating in a 100 Series Adaptor at one end and an R 1/2 Male end fitting at the other. This combination suits standard PCL 100 Series connections in workshop and industrial compressed-air systems where a short, flexible intermediate section is required. PCL manufacture from Sheffield, UK, and have been doing so since 1938 as part of HORNGROUP.
