Air hose assemblies that are mismatched in diameter or poorly terminated cause pressure drop and connection failures on the airline. The PCL HA2112 is a ready-made air hose assembly comprising 10 metres of 8 mm (5/16 in) internal-diameter hose, fitted with a Standard Adaptor at one end and a Male Thread R 1/4 at the other end, supplied complete and ready to connect without the need for crimping equipment on site.
The hose is constructed from a high-performance TPE compound that looks and feels like rubber but avoids the downsides associated with traditional rubber hose. The pre-fitted Standard Adaptor and R 1/4 Male end terminations mean the assembly is available in a cut length ready for immediate use, saving installation time.
At 10 metres in length with an 8 mm (5/16 in) bore, the HA2112 is suited to workshop and industrial airline runs where a pre-terminated, consistent-diameter hose assembly is required. The Standard Adaptor end accepts PCL's standard range of airline connections, while the R 1/4 Male thread end connects to corresponding fittings on compressors, reels, or manifolds.
