Variations
Air hose assemblies that are too short or fitted with fixed ends can restrict movement around the workshop and complicate installation. The PCL HA2016 is a 10-metre air hose assembly constructed from a high-performance TPE compound, fitted with Rp 1/4 swivel ends at both connections. The hose has an internal diameter of 7 mm (1/4 in), and the swivel end fittings are supplied ready-fitted, removing the need for separate crimping equipment on site.
The TPE construction gives the hose the handling feel of rubber whilst avoiding the associated drawbacks of natural rubber compounds. The 10-metre cut length provides working reach suited to benched and floor-level compressed-air applications in workshop environments, and the Rp 1/4 swivel ends allow the hose to rotate freely at each connection point, reducing twist and kinking during use.
