An air hose that kinks or degrades quickly costs productivity and replacement time. The PCL HA2044SF is a 10-metre SuperFlex hose assembly with a 9.5 mm (3/8") internal diameter and Rp 1/4 swivel ends at both terminations, designed for general compressed-air workshop use.
The SuperFlex construction is described by PCL as extremely flexible and hard-wearing. The hose material offers high resistance to ultra-violet light and a wide range of acids and alkalis, which PCL state contributes to longer service life across a wider range of working environments.
Anti-kink characteristics are a built-in feature of the SuperFlex design. Elimination of hose kinks reduces restrictions within the bore, maintaining consistent air flow to connected tools and equipment throughout the run of the hose.
The Rp 1/4 swivel ends allow the hose to be connected without imposing rotational stress on the fittings at either end, easing routing and reducing wear at the connection points. PCL have manufactured compressed-air equipment in Sheffield since 1938 and the HA2044SF is part of the broader HORNGROUP portfolio.
