Air hose assemblies with incompatible or worn end fittings cause pressure loss and downtime. The PCL HA2019 is a 10-metre hose assembly built around 13 mm (1/2 in) internal-diameter hose, terminated at both ends with Rp 1/2 swivel fittings — supplied ready to connect without the need for separate crimping work.
The hose is manufactured from a high-performance TPE compound that, according to PCL, looks and feels like rubber whilst avoiding the typical shortcomings associated with rubber hose. The Rp 1/2 swivel ends allow the assembly to be connected and oriented without twisting the hose body, which is a practical advantage in workshop installations where the hose must reach fixed connection points.
The HA2019 is available as a cut-length assembly complete with swivel end fittings, making it a ready-to-use replacement or extension hose for compressed-air systems requiring 1/2-inch bore capacity. It is part of PCL's hose assembly range, manufactured in Sheffield, UK, since 1938 and now part of the HORNGROUP.
