Worn or degraded workshop air hose causes pressure loss and slows work down. The PCL HA2004 is a 20-metre hose assembly built around 13 mm (1/2 in) internal-diameter hose, fitted with Rp 1/2 swivel ends at both terminations — supplied as a ready-to-connect assembly that saves the time and equipment cost of on-site crimping.
The hose is manufactured from a high-performance TPE compound that replicates the handling characteristics of rubber without its associated drawbacks. The swivel-end fittings allow the assembly to be connected and routed without twisting the hose body, which reduces wear at the couplings during normal workshop use.
With a 20-metre run and a 1/2 in bore, the HA2004 is suited to higher-flow applications where bore restriction would otherwise reduce tool performance. The Rp 1/2 threaded swivel ends are a standard industrial thread form, compatible with the PCL range of fittings and adaptors. PCL have manufactured compressed-air equipment in Sheffield since 1938, and the HA2004 sits within that established product range as a genuine replacement or installation hose assembly.
