The blade features a hardened M3 steel cutting edge that is welded to a tough alloy steel body. This bi-metal construction delivers a fast, clean cutting action whilst reducing the risk of shattering, making it suitable for prolonged use in stubborn materials. Four side slots are incorporated to assist with slug removal, keeping the cut clear and the blade free-running. The holesaw accepts a 9.5mm arbor via its female threaded spindle, allowing straightforward attachment to a power drill. When cutting metal, the use of a cutting lubricant is advisable to prolong service life. Draper Metal Cutting Lubricant 400ml (Stock No. 76109) is a compatible option recommended in the product documentation.
